Foreign investment in Colombia beats the record and totalized 9,028 million dollars
The main foreign investment went to the oil industry – 3,429 million dollars. In
2007, net income received by the country from abroad represented 5.3 per cent of
what its economy produced over the year, and it surpassed the amount recorded the
previous year of 6,464 million dollars.
